I see beauty in our Creator’s ability to bring good from the affliction in our lives, not to harm us, yet to prosper us. Through our suffering, we have the ability to fail forward, unite through community, catch His hand, and draw nearer. Rock bottom for some, the mundane life for others; we all fall into this category of brokenness with seemingly no way of complete healing. But we can set our eyes on the promise of the Lord’s restoration power. Because of His immaculate love, we are broken in the most graceful way, so we can learn and understand new depths of ourselves and of each other, how to love like Jesus, and how to piece our broken parts back together. The Lord equips us with stronger faith, shielded by the wisdom and confidence that He will never fail to deliver us from our pain and carry us into a new season of freedom. It is in the midst of each new turmoil of life, that He is able to declare victory over our brokenness, renew our hearts and allow us to be recipients of His grace.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Psalm 147:3

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”

1 John 3:1

“…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Isaiah 40:31
